Enemies? What Enemies?

Who's the biggest military threat on this
chart? Hmm?
It appears that we've been (if you're a USA resident), feeding
our taxes into a corporate sponsored military-industrial complex that is a black hole of expense. Arming ourselves against fabled enemies who
are so weak compared to us as to be practically invisible on the chart above.
Still, the drums beat for war and still more wars in distant,
faraway lands. And, because of the profits from supplying the military, it's no wonder that "they" want to use up
men and material so they can sell still more to an overbloated military.
The figures don't lie.
But, we've been lied to
bigtime!
There are clearly no adversaries anywhere close to having the
military budget of the US.
Funny how the media is always portraying shortages in the
military.
Where has all this money
gone? Not to the fighting man and woman at the front it
seems.
You'll see more examples of the "disappearing
millions/billions" in later articles only to illustrate that we are not getting a complete picture of either the
successes or the fiascos when it comes to government spending.
Until then, just take a second to look again at this
chart.
Our nearest potential "enemy" is so far below us in
military spending as to practically be invisible.
The US is either spending to incredible excess or perhaps the
military is the most convenient and efficient money-funnel from government into corporate
coffers.
I suspect with good reason that both are
true.
The military destroys equipment and
infra-structure.
Corporations build this equipment and rebuild
infra-structure.
What a marriage of convenience and profit.
Another illusion dispelled. - George
