It's also going to end up in Huge Corporations which will do everything and spend whatever it costs
to keep those dollars flowing to them.
This will eventually create (and has already created some would say) bloated Corporations and
Government.
And, that tax money is going to require increases in our paychecks or a diminishing lifestyle if
we're forced to spend more on taxes from a paycheck that doesn't increase with our costs.
If paychecks increase, that's inflation and now everything else will rise in price. Food, shelter,
utilities, travel, etc..
Well, it's a dizzying chain of events, eh?
I prefer a simple action that will undercut the need for all of the
above.
I choose to simply unscrew my old, wasteful, heat-producing, short-lived incandescent bulb
and replace it with a Compact Flourescent Bulb (CFB) or, even better and more advanced; a LED
LIGHT.

It's the easiest, laziest, most supportive thing I can do for the:
-
Environment - It's a big step forward.
Yes, I know that CFBs have some mercury in them, but LEDs last much longer and do not. Plus LED
LIGHTS are encased in plastic and are the size of the head of a pin (smaller is
better).
-
Politics - No need for political parties
or politicians
-
My Pocketbook - save a fortune in
utilities costs over time.
-
Personal Empowerment - We CAN do
something significant. One small step, but it's our step and it's in the right and not the wrong
direction for the whole Planet.
When's the last time you did something simple that changed the World for the
better?
It won't happen overnight as they say, or, will it?
What would happen if every household in this country switched out their old bulbs for new ones that
only used 1/10 the power?
We would need 1/10 the energy we did before the switch.
And, that oil would not be needed from overseas (the most unstable and costliest to
obtain).
Hmm?
