Prices dropped below the critical $405/oz. level but, have not held below that level for 24-hrs. yet as seen on the chart below.

Therefore, while the year-long downtrend in Gold remains intact, we still can't completely discount another rally using the Golden Line as a base price.

 The long-term trend is the one to watch for a lasting trend reversal. All for now. - George
